New Karazhan Sign-up Guidelines

As promised, here are the new guidelines for signing up for Karazhan raids.

For Guild Members given 'RAIDER' status
You do not need to sign-up for Karazhan raids. Please check with raid leaders/officers for your raiding time. Raiders will be rotated as necessary.

Guild Members will be given RAIDER status when they have shown themselves to have the right attitudes/reasonable ability/minimum gears to raid together with other members.

For Guild Members not given 'RAIDER' status
You may not be given RAIDER status yet because you are a new member of you are not ready or do not have the time to take part in Karazhan raids. You can sign-up to gain exposure.

Sign-ups will start on Thursday and close on Sunday. Raid Leaders will post the Raid List by Tuesday night. Please turn up for raid on Wednesday if you have a raid spot.

IMPORTANT: Signing-up does not guarantee you a spot in a Karazhan raid.

Possible reasons are:
- there are too many people from the same class signing up and we cannot include all (for example, if there are 4 warriors signing up to be tank, we will not be able to bring all 4 as we only need 3 tanks for 3 kara raids)
- we need to ensure class balance (class balance is very important in Karazhan. Hence, we may not be able to bring 4 hunters in a raid as we will need other classes to make a proper balance for a 10-man raid)
- you are not geared

Raid Leaders will try their best to include those who have signed-up. If you have not been included, they will try to include you in another week's raids.

You can always pst officers/raid leaders if you are curious why you aren't given a raid spot.

Please note:
1. Many (if not all) current Raid Leaders are working full-time. Please be patient if your name has been left out. There is no need to be emo just because we made a mistake.

2. DD is not a hardcore raiding guild. We want to have fun in raiding/instancing/questing together. We cannot guarantee everyone a raid spot. As more members gain Raider status, we can then consider opening additional Raids.

3. If you have any frustrations, talk to any officer.

4. Remember, sometimes, a simple clarification is all you need. :-)

If you have any questions, please post them in the comments. Happy Raiding!
